Operating System Requirements

The operating systems that have been tested and are currently supported are Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. While this application may run on other operating systems, they have not been tested and are therefore not supported.

 

Screen Resolution Requirements

800x600 screen resolution or greater is required. If your Graphics Adapter supports this, you can modify your settings as follows:

  1. On your desktop, double-click on My Computer
  2. Double-click on Control Panel
  3. Double-click on Display
  4. Click on the Settings tab
  5. Under Desktop Area, drag the gauge to the right until it reads 800 by 600 pixels or greater.
  6. Click the Apply button

 

JavaScript Requirements

In Internet Explorer:

  1. Under the Tools menu, choose Internet Options
  2. Click the Security tab at the top of the Internet Options panel
  3. Click the Custom Level button at the botton of the Security section of the Internet Options panel
  4. Under "Scripting" set "Active Scripting" to "Enable"

In Internet Explorer:

  1. Under the Tools menu, choose Internet Options
  2. Click the Security tab at the top of the Internet Options panel

  4. Under "Java" set "Java Permissions" to "High safety"

  4. Under "Address of Web site" type in the domain name of the web page currently loaded, e.g. compupharma.net
  5. Click the "Allow" button

Pop-Up Blocker Installed

You will need to disable your pop-up blocker so Skillpad may launch a new Window. The procedure to do this is dependent on the type of pop-up blocker installed on your computer. For more details consult your pop-up blocking software or IS department.

If you have Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed, you may disable your Internet Explorer pop-up blocker using the following steps:

  1. In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, point to Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up Blocker Settings.
  2. To allow pop-ups for the Skillpad site, type the address (or URL) of the Skillpad site in the Address of Web site to allow box, and then click Add.
  3. Click Close.
