Aseptic Processing – Gowning
This lesson describes the significance of correct gowning techniques used in aseptic manufacturing facilities across the world. The need to greatly reduce potential contamination threats, as well as trying to limit employees bioburden in such environments, is of critical importance to the success of a product, and the safety of patients and customers.
The lesson also breaks down the vital role that airlocks play in protecting sterile environments, the differences in cleanroom classification, with a particular emphasis on the differences between ISO 5 to 8, and the necessary gowning protection that’s generally required for each environment.
